The crew’s exploration of outer space takes them to Game Show Planet, where a charismatic host (Paul F. Tompkins) challenges the Story Pirates to compete. Featuring two new spooky stories: ‘Boo!,” a tale of trick-or-treating hygiene by Nora, a 7-year-old from Florida, and “The Clock,” a creepy story about a timepiece with a dreadful secret, written by an 8-year-old from Washington named Lyla.

Boo!
Nora, age 7, Florida
Once upon a time, there was a brother and a sister named Sarah and Max. They were trick-or-treating because it was Halloween. They soon came upon the worst house they hated. It was the house that gives you toothpaste instead of candy. Their mother forced them to go in. They went in the house. It was a mansion. They soon came to the section that gave you toothpaste. They pushed the door open. Guess what they saw! They saw a ghost with shining teeth. It said, Boo! The children ran off to home. The ghost followed them to their home. The children looked back, but did not see the ghost. Then they kept on running. Just so you know, the ghost is nice. He just wants you to have clean teeth. Then he zoomed in front of the children and said, give me your toothbrush and toothpaste! You need some clean teeth, your breath is gross! The children were surprised that the ghost could talk. They gave him their toothbrush and toothpaste and he brushed their teeth (he made sure it wasn’t bubblegum flavored because he hates that flavor and he assumed the kids would too) and they finally had yummy breath. The end
