Goats on the Roof
Jude, age 7, Ireland
Once there was a goat who lived on Goats on the Roof, a place on Vancouver Island where goats live on the roof of a tourist attraction. His name was Bob.
His goat friends were pro skateboarders. One day he saw his friend doing a kickflip, and it inspired him to start skateboarding. He practiced for a few months with his goat friends and they taught him everything they knew. He built a ramp off the roof and built his skateboard out of forest wood.
One day he saw a poster for a skateboard competition on a telephone pole. He went to the competition, but they turned him away because he was a goat. He decided to disguise himself as a human and managed to enter the competition.
There were four rounds of the competition. After the third round, he was in second place. For his last trick, he pulled off a double spin kickflip, and his disguise flew off!
The judges saw that he was a goat, so they ripped off their disguises and they were all cats! And everyone else ripped off their disguises and they were all goats and cats and dogs!
His final trick got him to first place, and he won the trophy. They celebrated at the pizza place.
